Lifestalia Limited is a private limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with Registration No: 1972321, as a secure payment processing and loan management company which facilitates payments and loan acquisitions for startups, entrepreneurs, SMEs, merchants, and super Merchants by providing ecommerce, mobile commerce, social commerce invoicing and payments solutions, financial wellness, and employee benefits.

We retain the intellectual property rights to the scoring system, and we may use or license our business partners and co-marking arrangement partners to use this scoring system. We may also collect your email and phone book contacts and information related to device activity, such as SMS logs and GPS location information. To supplement this information, we may also collect data from third parties, such as credit bureaus and other financial institutions.

While using our platforms, we receive the following details

  • Decision on your request (including information collected from credit bureaus).
  • Details of the loans you have and have had with us and all other transactions.
  • Details of when you contact us and when we contact you.
  • Other information which we reasonably need to operate your account, grant your applications, and fulfil our regulatory obligations.
  • Details of any phone numbers that you call us from and use them to contact you.

Lifestalia’s access to your personal will include but not limited to the information highlighted above as obtained from you, from a credit bureau, from the internet or from any other legal source.

For further clarity

Contacts: This permission allows us to access and obtain your contact list information from your device's address book and save it in our server, including their phone contact names, phone numbers. The purpose of the collection is to build your credit profile by analyzing the phone book and to increase the number of ways to contact you. In addition, this allows you to select your emergency contacts in your loan application, and this information will be used for anti-fraud evaluation. All contact lists are not monitored, stored, or shared with any third parties but rightly maintained and protected on our servers.

Text Messages: this permission allows us to verify your identity and to create credit scoring models to determine the value of loans that can be offered to you. We also use this data for collection and credit reporting purposes as required by law. Mobile Device: This permission enables us to track specific information about your device, such as device name, model number, location, language settings, device identifier, network operator, roaming state, MNC and MCC codes, MAC address and mobile network information, hardware and software information, status, usage habits, unique device identifiers such as IMEI and serial number to uniquely identify the device and to ensure that unauthorized devices do not act on your behalf to prevent fraud, misrepresentation, and identity theft.

Location: The access to your device location will be used to verify your address, make a better credit risk decision, expedite your KYC process, customer risk assessment and scoring purposes.

Camera: Access to the Camera allows for the smooth upload of images or files for easy identification, verification of your personal details and capture of required KYC documents to save time by allowing us to auto-fill important information where necessary.

Storage: All information collected from you will be diligently maintained and protected on our servers.

Calendar Information: This helps us easily set up a loan due date memo for you to assist and provide a quick reminder to repay your loan and prevent default.

We may also collect, use, and exchange your information in other ways permitted by law.

Non-Personal Information Collected By Us: In providing you with quality service, we sometimes collect certain information during your visits to perform certain tasks such as access to our website or conduct research on your behavior on our site to improve our services. We will not disclose your information to any person outside our organization except as described in this Privacy Policy.

When you input your card details on our website, app, or other platforms, we collect your card information, email address, mobile phone number, and address. However, only the masked PAN is stored by us. Our physical and virtual access control measures ensure your card information is kept safe and secure on our servers. We also have cyber security policies and procedures, industry standards including the use of encryption and firewall technologies in compliance with international standards, and we implement periodical security updates to ensure that our security infrastructures follow reasonable industry standards.

Information We Share: We may share the information about you and your dealings with us, to the extent permitted by law, with the following:

  • Lifestalia Staff, Affiliated Businesses and Sponsored platforms – We work a lot with other business such as merchants (who we use their payment platform) on our site and apps or other third parties where we have joined offerings. In instances like that, we may share customer information related to those transactions with third parties.
  • Third-Party Service Providers, Lifestalia strategic partners and service providers – for the purpose of improving and providing our products and services to you. Your Personal information will not be shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
  • Regulators, External Auditors, Government Agencies/courts – It may be necessary by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate.

We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users. Where we have provided you (or where you have chosen) a password or security pin that grants you access to specific areas on our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We request that you do not share your password or security pin or other authentication details with anyone and ensure you sign off when using a shared computer.

Two Factor Authentication: We have added the Two Factor Authentication as an additional layer of security to your account. You will be required to enter a One Time Password (OTP) (a code sent to you to verify directives). Please note that you may opt to disable this feature. In the event you opt out of this feature, despite our strong recommendation, Lifestalia shall not be liable for any loss or damages incurred because of your decision.

Where We Store Your Information: All Personal Information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers as well as secure physical locations and cloud infrastructure (where applicable).
